For 35 years, Carnegie New Mexico Professors of the Year saluted the most outstanding undergraduate instructors in the state—those who excel as teachers and influence the lives and careers of their students. It was recognized as one of the most prestigious awards for professors. NMSU is proud to have been the home to no fewer than seven Carnegie award winners between 1994-2012.
